My name is Stephanie! I’m a 21 year old college student studying Health Sciences and Nutrition pursuing a career as a Registered Dietitian. I have a passion for health and wellness, but specifically helping women make peace with food and their bodies and learn to live a healthy lifestyle without obsession. I want women to realize they can reach their health and fitness goals without extremes or deprivation. I too was once consumed with my weight, constantly thought about food, and felt terrible about myself if I didn’t adhere to my workout routine perfectly. I dealt with hormonal and digestive issues for years, which probably started with my disordered relationship with food. I struggled with severely restrictive eating disorders in high school, and once I found fitness, my obsession turned to the gym. I competed in bodybuilding for a couple of seasons, and while I loved it, it took a toll on my body. I was left with a stressed out body, high cortisol, and severed digestive problems, including SIBO and leaky gut, and not to mention I still didn’t have a period which had been gone for almost four years. This forced me to take a step back and evaluate my “fit and healthy” liftesyle. I was living for a “look” rather than for health. I took a step back from working out, dropped all forms of calorie counting, and decided to truly dive in to healing. Throughout my healing journey, I learned even more about hormones and digestion and how they’re connected. I decided to show myself compassion and appreciate my body instead of constantly hating on it. I improved my relationship with food, gained clarity in my life, and experienced physical healing I never thought was possible. I’ve now found a balance between my love of fitness and self-love. I want to help you do the same! This site is all living well without going crazy. If you’ve ever struggled with body image, self confidence, or finding a healthy balance - I hope I can serve as a source of hope and support!
